FCT Blind School Abuja
The FCT Blind School is a governmental institution with very low financial support. We found facilities poorly equipped and therefore decided to provide support.
It is a boarding school and children only go home at weekends or holidays. Boys and girls are able to complete their school education and learn to manage daily life with their handicap.
The Blind School was supported for the first time by Berger Ladies in 2016 with 90 new mattresses and bed sheets for the pupils´ beds.
This will be continued in 2017.
