Hope Eden in Kuje
Hope Eden Community School is an institution for children from the surrounding villages of Kuje. The school is particularly for underprivileged families, single mothers and orphans. In past years the school was supported in building classrooms, purchasing furniture, materials and food for
approx. 140 children.
Presently Hope Eden is working on a new project with rooms for home economics and technical workshops.
Tina Ogbo
Tina is a young woman, a victim of an acid attack, who is blind and not able to walk properly. After her graduation from Blind School in 2015, a new home was found for her at Hope Eden. With the help of the Berger Ladies they were able to build a house for her.
Her aim is to learn appropriate skills in order for her to be independent from external help.
